Cristy Selvidge - MCHS

The Martin County School Board approved Ms. Cristina Selvidge’s appointment as the new principal of Martin County High School during its meeting on March 21, 2023.  The school’s longtime principal, Alfred Fabrizio, will retire at the end of this school year.


Ms. Selvidge joins the Martin County School District from Broward County Public Schools (Fort Lauderdale, Florida), where she most recently served as interim principal at Flanagan High School. She has many years of experience in school improvement planning, cultivating stakeholder relationships, positive behavioral interventions and supports, recruitment/hiring, professional development, ESE and ESOL oversight, continuous improvement and curriculum integrations.

Ms. Selvidge earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida, and her Educational Leadership certification from the University of South Florida.
