"Austin‘s sister Hana also attends Hillsdale. Austin chose Hillsdale because of its rigorous academics, and a distinctive core curriculum anchored in western tradition and Judeo-Christian faith. Austin‘s decision was solidified when he was invited to a special leadership weekend for a select group of admitted students where he participated in group projects, a persuasive essay and interactive lectures that earned him a scholarship." Austin is currently serving as the Martin County School Board Student Representative. 🎉Congratulations, Austin! ☀️ SOLAR ECLIPSE SAFETY ☀️ Reminder: At approximately 1:48 p.m., Martin County will begin to experience a partial solar eclipse. This happens when the moon passes directly between Earth and the sun, momentarily casting a shadow and blocking the sun's light. Martin County will not experience a "totality" like other parts of the country and can expect to see approximately 51% coverage of the sun.
