Crystal Lake Elementary takes home first at MCSD Math Olympics

The Martin County School District hosted the 2nd annual Fifth Grade Math Olympics at Dr. David L. Anderson Middle School on April 20, 2024.

 

Student teams from all twelve District-operated elementary schools showcased their excellent math skills, competing against one another for the title of District Champion.

 

Students competed in various individual and team rounds involving problem-solving, critical thinking and speed math.

 

When the final scores were tallied, the Crystal Lake Elementary Hawks came in first place. Congratulations to the following schools:

  • 1st Place: Crystal Lake Elementary School (131 points)

  • 2nd Place: Jensen Beach Elementary School (127 points)

  • 3rd Place: J. D. Parker Elementary School (113)

 

All competitors calculated valiantly! The District is proud of the mathematical achievements made by all students and are grateful for the coaches leading the way.
