FRC Team 180 S.P.A.M. Competes in Houston

We are thrilled to share the incredible success of Martin County School District Team 180 S.P.A.M. at the FIRST Robotics Competition World Championship held in Houston, Texas!

Ranking Achievements: In our 24th appearance at the World Championship, Team 180 S.P.A.M. soared to new heights, securing the 3rd position in our division! Throughout the intense qualification rounds, our team demonstrated exceptional skill, losing only one match by a narrow margin. This outstanding performance propelled us to the top, showcasing our dedication and teamwork on the global stage as the 3rd Alliance Captain.

Autonomous Mastery: But wait, there's more! Team 180 clinched the 2nd spot worldwide for our autonomous period, a testament to our precision and innovation in programming. Additionally, we proudly claimed the 1st position globally for our human player’s contribution, highlighting our strategic prowess and adaptability on the field.

Elite Status: This season marks a milestone for Team 180 as we achieve our highest ranking at the World Championship in over two decades! With this achievement, we solidify our position as one of the top 1% teams among the 4,000 teams worldwide, showcasing our dedication, perseverance, and passion for robotics excellence.
