The Martin County School District proudly joins our nation in honoring the heroic first responders and common citizens who were called into action to bring goodness out of evil on September 11, 2001. We honor those who were wounded or perished at the World Trade Center and Pentagon, as well as the passengers and crews of flights 93, 77, 11 and 175. We will never forget. Mr. Frank Frangella, Director of Safety and Security, served 20 years with the New York City Police Department (NYPD) before joining MCSD in 2018. 🍎MARTIN MINUTE WITH MILLAY🍎 The Martin County School District has had a collaborative, productive and fast-moving few weeks with regard to bargaining negotiations! AFSCME Local #597's 2021-2022 agreement was ratified by the School Board on August 16. The Martin County Education Association's 2021-2022 agreement, which was approved by bargaining unit-eligible employees on Tuesday, is scheduled to be ratified by the School Board in September. Yesterday, the District and AFSCME tentatively agreed to a contract for the current school year in RECORD time!
