On Thursday, March 21, 2024, the Martin County School District will host the 48th Annual Music in Our Schools Concert at Martin County High School (Don Wallen Arena/Gym) at 7 p.m.
The program coincided with the National Association for Music Education's (NAfME) Music in Our Schools Month, with this year's theme being "I See Me in Music Education."
The Music in Our Schools Concert showcases the amazing musical talents of our students from all District-operated schools under the guidance of our dedicated music leaders.
As this is a districtwide event, seating will be limited. Tickets for family/friends will be distributed to participating students through their music teachers at Thursday's rehearsal. Tickets are required for entry to the event. Due to limited capacity, we will not be able to accommodate families without tickets. A video highlighting the performances will be available at a later date.
Parking and seating are limited. Ticketed spectators are encouraged to arrive early, if possible. Doors will open at 6 p.m. There will be overflow parking in a grassy area just north of Martin County High School on the west side of Willoughby Blvd.
Once seating is full, there will be "standing room only" sections available for spectators on the second level of Don Wallen Arena. For the safety of all, standing is NOT permitted on the first floor.
