Our School Social Service Workers are essential members of Team MCSD - they assist children, families, faculty and staff in creating a healthy and positive learning environment for all. 🍽CELEBRATING HEALTHY CHOICES🍽 Busy weekday mornings make it a challenge for many families to find time for a healthy breakfast. Fortunately, the Martin County School District offers nutritious school breakfasts, complete with fruit and low-fat or fat-free milk, to ensure students are fueled for learning every school day! 🥛🍎🍌🥞🥯 This year, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is allowing all children to receive school breakfast and lunch for free, without an application, so it’s a great time for families to give school breakfast a try. 🐢🌊EXPLORING THE GEM OF MARTIN COUNTY🐢🌊 Encounters with nature happen here in your Martin County public schools! Slowly but surely, the Environmental Studies Center has resumed its on-site field trips. To ensure transportation requirements are met throughout the District, as well as to allow the Center to welcome as many children as possible, students in grades 2-5 will have the opportunity to visit this school year. The Center offers many opportunities for the community to visit throughout the year, including the upcoming Grandparents Day which will be held this Saturday, February 5! A little chilly weather didn't stop J.D. Parker Elementary School students from enjoying their recent trip to the Center! #ALLINMartin👊
